Discover the Langdon
Down Centre and
Normansfield Theatre.

The Langdon Down Centre was established in 1868 by Victorian physician, Dr John Langdon Down, as a family home and place of care and education for those with learning difficulties. Today the Langdon Down Centre is home to the Normansfield Theatre and its many events and classes, the Langdon Down Museum of Learning Disability, the national office of the Down’s Syndrome Association and Down Syndrome International.
